Please Stand By.....

I will be leaving for MN Early Friday the 1st. I will be returning on the 11th. I am sure I will come back with 100s of pictures. I just took 213 to be printed last night.

I hope you all have a great 4th. I will try to get some cool pictures of Fireworks. Shhhhhhh, they are illegal in MN. Don't want the DNR, and Smoky the Bear after me. I will shoot them over the lake and then clean up after myself on the 5th.

I also will have to learn to dish them out a few at a time like Laura, Leesa, and TaD do, so that I don't run out like I did this week. Also expect to see a print of some commissioned artwork I just finished for a friend. They read my blog, so I can't post it until they receive it. (the actual subject matter and work itself are sort of a suprise.)

Something Never Returned

I took these books out of the library, well you can read the date due. They were the only two books they had about good and bad touches, and when not to keep a secret they had. The librarian told me that no one had checked them out for 5 years. I asked her if they could be bought, she said only after they have not been checked out for 7 years. (You guessed it, I had just checked them out....7 more years folks.)

Anyway, for reasons I am not at liberty to go into here, I needed those books. It was my intent to take them back once I had finished with them, but then we moved to a diferent part of town, and I always think, I'll take them when I go over that way. I have been saying that now for 5 years..... OOOOPS

A Gift Never Opened

This was a wedding gift to me and my ex, from a very dear friend of my family's. It is hand painted from Korea. The note that came with it says that these are Love Birds who mate for life. She never liked it, but I couldn't part with it. Now that I am no longer married, it just doesn't seem right to hang it. Hey, who gives a EF, I think I will.
