- Location:Kansas City, Missouri, US.
I am a divorced father of 2 wonderful children, whose mother died from Breast Cancer in August of '04. I have also been blessed with A.D.D. (Yes it is a blessing!) I become board very quickly if I am not being intelectually stimulated in some way. I am always looking for the funnier side of things, which means I laugh a lot. I have champainge taste on a koolaide budget. Finally, the only thing I do worse than type is spell! (So get over it, LOL).

Yes, it is a new bud from the tulip tree in my front yard. In the spring the tree will bloom with huge pink and white tulip shaped flowers. It usually lasts about two or three days before either a huge wind comes along or a big rain storm. Both of which rent the hell out of the blooms. Mine is a so so tree when it blooms, only because I lost part of it in the Big Ice Storm 4 years ago. Some, however, are simply beautiful. They are everywhere in Kansas City I will have to snap one for you all.
A tulip tree, huh? How cool is that! I've never heard of a tulip tree. I love tulips though, so I'll love the pics once it blooms.
