I am a divorced father of 2 wonderful children, whose mother died from Breast Cancer in August of '04. I have also been blessed with A.D.D. (Yes it is a blessing!) I become board very quickly if I am not being intelectually stimulated in some way. I am always looking for the funnier side of things, which means I laugh a lot. I have champainge taste on a koolaide budget. Finally, the only thing I do worse than type is spell! (So get over it, LOL).

Looks great to me! I didn't even think of putting the camera in front of my face...I will do that with the next ones. My camera is pretty big so it won't be a problem!
Ahhhh very nice, I.S. Tell us about your ring!
M~
P.S. ~ congrats on the photo blog site. Very happy to see you with one. I can't wait to see your talent shine thru.
M~
OK, the ring I am wearing is one of my most prized posessions. The stone is carved Onyx, with the head of a Roman Soldier wearing a helmet.
The ring was originally an engagement gift from my Grandmother to my Grandfather in 1937. Eventually the original band wore through, and was replaced in the 1950s.
My Grandpa never took the ring off. There is a picture of him walking my mother down the aisle, hands crossed in front, and he is wearing this ring.
One fall, while raking leaves at their MN lake home, the ring came off. Of course, they were upset. Amazingly, the next spring he found it in the yard.
My Grandfather was a very special man in my life. When he died, I asked my mom to see if I could get his ring. Now I wear it every day, and think of him each time I glance at it, keeping his memory alive. I still love you Herman! (That was his mickmane, I hardly ever called him Grandpa.)
M~ I hope you are crying now cause so am I. :o)
Wow, that's touching.
I am, I.S. That story was beautiful & I can see you wear it with pride & honor now.
M~
I just found your site from Kristine's (you did the SPF thing) and I'm glad you did! I really liked this picture to begin with and your story made me like it even MORE (and yes I did sniffle, I'm a wus, so what).
You have very nice pictures...very nice indeed!
